Anhydrous Ammonia
Industrial use- refrigeration applications, metal treating, chemical, pharmaceutical & petroleum industries, agriculture, reprographics, Diazo machines, resins, polymers, acid neutralization, water treatment, cogeneration-NOX, and scrubbers

It is used to sterilize drinking water, to disinfect swimming pools and in the manufacture of many consumer products such as paper, dyestuffs, textiles, petroleum products, medicines, antiseptics, insecticides, foodstuffs, solvents, paints and plastics, especially PVC. It is also used to produce bleaches, chlorates, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride and bromine. A further substantial use for this element is in organic chemistry, both as an oxidizing agent and in substitution reactions.

Methyl Chloride
It is used as solvent for the synthesis of chemicals and pharmaceuticals, production of polycarbonates and cellulose triacetate (for films and fibers), metal degreasing (surface treatment) and paint removal, as extraction solvent in the food industry (removal of caffeine from unroasted coffee beans and tea) and as laboratory solvent

Sulfur Dioxide
It is used as a reducing agent in metallurgy, as a coolant in the refrigeration industry, as a disinfectant and bleach, in the preservation of foodstuffs, for dechlorination and as a fumigant.
