Over 150 attendees gathered in early August for the annual Carus Family Picnic at Hegeler Carus Mansion. This year was better than ever with carnival themed games, Tony’s Butt Shack BBQ food, Laki’s Hawaiian Ice, and the Carus infamous egg toss tradition that dates back decades.

“We love putting on the picnic every year. Carus is a family-oriented company, and we have the opportunity to embody that by getting the whole family involved, whether it be something like the bounce house for kids or the yard games for adults,” says Bailee Wallace, HR Business Partner. “Despite the heat at this year’s event, we had record attendance.”

The annual company picnic is just one of many events that Carus throws for its employees. They hold an annual Christmas party and events throughout the year that allows employees to have fun with their coworkers outside of the workplace.
