In April, Carus employees around the world participated in our first global Pay it Forward initiative. Each of our locations – LaSalle, Illinois; Peru, Illinois; Belmont, North Carolina; and Oviedo, Spain – selected a local charity and collected items to benefit neighbors in need.
The Carus team in Belmont, North Carolina chose to collect items for Glory Group, a nonprofit organization founded by Carus employee Selina Davie.
Glory Group supports at risk communities in Lincolnton, North Carolina and the surrounding area. The vision of Glory Group is to be the premier organization to assist in the development of everyone’s fullest potential. The nonprofit provides toiletries to meet the most basic human needs. They also provide household items for those transitioning from homelessness to permanent residency.
“Thank you to Carus for selecting Glory Group as the Belmont plant April 2022 recipient of Pay it Forward,” said Selina Davie. “We had great participation, and Glory Group will be able to serve many people in the community thanks to everyone’s kindness.”
